Manvi Koduri
Manvi Koduri first had the idea for think.Medical after years of personal experiences in and out of hospitals, which sparked her fascination with medicine and patient care. As she grew older, her passion for healthcare deepened through her experience as a Surgical and Neuro Department volunteer at Shady Grove Hospital and through congenital research, contributing to her authoring of healthcare publications. Her experience at the Department of Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques at Johns Hopkins reinforced her commitment to improving healthcare access and education. During her junior year at Clarksburg High School in Maryland, she came up with the idea for think.Medical, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to transforming the future of pediatric healthcare by empowering young patients and their families through innovative care, education, and advocacy. After pitching think.Medical to Hannah, whom she had met at Johns Hopkins, both of them worked together to come up with a platform that would create a tangible impact in pediatric healthcare. As someone who has always felt a deep connection to the medical field, Manvi’s passion for pediatric healthcare has inspired her to take initiative and use her voice to make a meaningful impact in society.
Shannon Mullaney
Shannon Mullaney is a junior at Damascus High School. Her passion for pediatric healthcare stems from a deep desire to uplift and support young patients and their families. A driven student leader with a heart for service, Shannon has always been committed to creating meaningful change through community engagement and advocacy. When her friend Manvi Koduri introduced her to the idea behind think.Medical, Shannon was immediately drawn to the mission. Together, they have developed a platform that not only amplifies the voices of young patients but also empowers pediatric patients to navigate their healthcare journeys with confidence. Shannon's unwavering belief that every child deserves equitable, empathetic healthcare drives her dedication to think.Medical's vision and fuels her determination to make a lasting impact in the medical community.
